Roy Mustang, from Arakawa's Fullmetal Alchemist, and his team, in an imagined photograph 'taken' some time after the end of the manga. It is heavily inspired by the pictures on the last pages of chapter 108, only that, this time, Roy is Fuhrer. Because he so deserves it and he will be. <3

I felt that Ed and Al's story was finished beautifully, and very neatly (but not closed) and that while Roy certainly was one step closer to achieving his dreams, it was not yet journey's end for him. Therefore, fanart! (and also just so I can sneak in little details, like the rabid shipper I am).

I tried to keep some similarities with the original style, but somewhere between refining the lineart and colouring it my style took over. So there's that! I need to learn to keep shading simple sometimes. Haha. I hope it works for this piece.

This version pretends to look like an old photograph, a newspaper cutting, or a print from a history book. But I also have a untextured version, here: [link]

I think that everybody wanted this kind of pic in the last chapter~
Anyway, it's a great draw and I love the coloring! ;D (and the ring, of course... I wonder why Riza don't show her hans, I'm sure that she would have another one 8D)
