A Window to the East

Drawn for fma_ladyfest at LJ! Ghostfriendly, my recipient, wanted to see Mei and Xiao Mei, in Xing. Sorry for my ninja-shipping. Apparently that's the way I flaunt my shippiness to the world.

I procrastinated on this for a long time, and then when the deadline drew close I had just moved to a different country and I had to rush. Knowing that, I still decided to go for a technically challenging piece for me. And then I tried to make it my most detailed piece yet. (I failed). I did learn a couple of things working on it, though, and I'm happy with how this turned out.
